Buis Chiropractic
Dr. Bob Buis established Buis Chiropractic in 1987, in his hometown of Hawthorne New Jersey. He wanted to serve the local community and families in the area. Over the years the practice has grown tremendously - in 2018, Dr. Bob's son, Dr. Rob joined the practice after graduating chiropractic college from the same school as his father, Life University. The office accepts all patients, including geriatric, pediatric, and pregnancy. The Doctor's utilized upper cervical, full spine diversified technique. All adjustments are performed by hand.
In 2021, Dr. Bob and Dr. Rob took over a second office from a long time friend and mentor Dr. Bob Tarantino when he retired at the age of 80 years old and served the community with chiropractic care for 55 years. Both Doctor's are available at the Hawthorne and Lyndhurst offices.
Please give us a call, our staff is ready to help and assist you with any questions or concerns. We have a 24/7 call service, and a digital x-ray unit on site. There are many benefits to chiropractic care and are excited to hear from you.

Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Bob, Dr. Rob and Dr. Mary have a uniform approach to patient care, chiropractic analysis and adjustment. When you come in to be evaluated by us, expect a detailed patient history, full spine examination, review of prior treatment plans, imaging reports and x-ray imaging if necessary. The doctors will then give a report of findings and do a chiropractic adjustment.

Meet Dr. Robert Tarantino, D.C.
Retired Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Bob Tarantino retired in 2022 at the age of 80 years old. Dr. Bob served his community for 55 years in Lyndhurst New Jersey where he had a very busy family based principled chiropractic practice. Dr. Bob served as the president of the Chiropractic Board of New Jersey for 8 years and has gone all over the country giving lectures on chiropractic. He still receives his weekly chiropractic adjustment, and is a true inspiration and example of care for the community.
